WELCOME

The Stillwater Starz is a developmental summer swim team and a member of the Naperville Swim Conference (NSC). A volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to develop confident, capable young swimmers and foster a love of competitive swimming in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our swimmers range from 4-18 years of age, and most are residents of the Stillwater subdivision and other nearby communities in southwest Naperville, Plainfield, and Oswego. For our youngest swimmers, their time on the Starz is often their first experience with competitive swimming. It’s also where many of our returning swimmers, some of whom now swim year-round in club and school programs, got their start. Join us this summer, and find out what fun you can have when we shoot for the Starz together!

***UPDATE: Please note that we've just been informed by the City Meet Chair that there is another large event occurring this weekend at Naperville Central HS. Swim families should park by the auditorium. Entering from Hillside Rd. (rather than Aurora Ave.) is still the best plan. Please arrive before positive check-in opens and allow plenty of time for parking.

Good morning, City Championship families, and welcome to one of Naperville's most storied swim traditions!

Please read on for important information regarding this weekend's meet. You will receive a separate reminder regarding your parent work assignment; City is an "all hands on deck" meet; if this is your family's sole championship meet, then you have a work assignment.

Please remember that every swimmer--and every swim--is important at City. Missed swims result in conference fines that are passed to the team. These fines, in turn, will be passed to swimmers' families. For this reason, it's critically important to honor your family's meet commitment by arriving early for positive check-in, checking in for your work assignment on-schedule, attending any relevant meetings for your position, and encouraging your swimmer to bullpen early for every event. These steps will ensure that our team's obligations to the conference are fulfilled and that ALL our swimmers arrive at the blocks on time, ready to perform their best.
