Starz ROundup: Upcoming Deadlines and Tomorrow's Meet vs. Breckenridge
Good Afternoon, Starz Families!
Our last regular season meet--and our last HOME meet--is tomorrow! You’ll find information on tomorrow’s rescheduled HOME meet vs. Breckenridge, including swimmer and worker lists, at the end of this email. But first:
Upcoming Deadlines and Events
- THURSDAY: Last day to declare for the City Championship meet. To participate in City, 7/8 through 11/12 swimmers have at least one City-qualifying time unless Coach Mary has asked your swimmer to help complete a relay. If your swimmer earns his or her first qualifying time at tomorrow’s meet and would like to change from Classic to City, please declare them for City, and email Head Coach Mary to be removed from Classic. All 13/14 and 15-18 swimmers compete at City regardless of qulaifying time status.
- THURSDAY: Championship Week Kickoff Party (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). RSVP’s were required for this now-closed lunch, craft, and games event. This event is DRY; swimmers should wear comfortable play clothes. If your swimmer intends to remain at the pool for this event following his or her practice, he or she must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or another caregiver.
- THURSDAY: High School Invitational at Naper Carriage Hill.
- FRIDAY: Last practice for Classic swimmers (and those not participating in championship meets)
- SATURDAY: Classic Championship Meet, PM Session. More information will be emailed to participating swimmers and workers later this week.

Warm-ups Begin/Positive Check-in Closes: 4:45PM (Swimmers arriving after 4:45PM will be scratched from the meet.)
Worker Check-in: 4:45PM, following swimmer check-in (with Asheley , on deck, near small pool)

Please pay careful attention to RELAYS, and don’t leave the meet without checking out with a coach to ensure that ALL your swimmer’s events, including relays, are complete!
