WELCOME

The Stillwater Starz is a developmental summer swim team and a member of the Naperville Swim Conference (NSC). A volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to develop confident, capable young swimmers and foster a love of competitive swimming in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our swimmers range from 4-18 years of age, and most are residents of the Stillwater subdivision and other nearby communities in southwest Naperville, Plainfield, and Oswego. For our youngest swimmers, their time on the Starz is often their first experience with competitive swimming. It’s also where many of our returning swimmers, some of whom now swim year-round in club and school programs, got their start. Weather Alert: Tuesday, July 8 (Breckenridge at Home: POSTPONED)

Starz Families,

We have been closely monitoring the potential for problematic weather this evening throughout the day. 

In collaboration with NSC reps from Breckenridge, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight's meet to Tuesday, July 15--one week from today (same meet times). As many of you have experienced, it can be VERY challenging (if not impossible) to restart a meet with full particpation following a weather hold. Given the size of this meet, the fact that many families would be parking off site, and our want to allow for the possibility of a COMPLETE meet, we erred on the side of postponement.

Swimmer entires and worker assignments will transfer over to the make-up date. If your swimmer's availability will change (either way) given the shift in date, please email Head Coach Mary. 

Workers, we know that last-minute changes like these can be difficult to navigate. Please make every effort to fulfill your work obligation. If an immovable commitment makes this impossible, please ask another parent to fill in if you can and notify Asheley of the switch via email. If you were NOT originally scheduled to work tonight's meet but could help us on Tuesday if we're short, please email Asheley ASAP. Thanks, in advance, for your assistance with this challenging situation!
